The development of the PASSINA group is a logical result of the former company PASSI Ltd. in Rothrist/Switzerland. In the early sixties it was this company that had introduced "passion fruit juice" as a usable flavour for the beverage industry in Europe.
This company soon became known as a well-established supplier of
high quality tropical juices and concentrates. The "PASSINA"
label was a security with respect to quality and reliability. Of
even greater importance was the innovative thought behind the
concept: "Creating of export possibilities for the developing
countries on the industrial field of juices and beverages with new
flavours.

In the capacity of a producer The PASSINA group makes it her object; either by owned productions plants in South-America (Ecuador and Argentina) or by exclusivity agreements in South-Africa an the far east (The Philippines); to build-up a value added potential for the suppliers, viz. farmers and plants, in the countries of origin. This enables the PASSINA group to supply their customer's world-wide high quality and reliable fruit juices and fruit juice concentrates. This in such way that their customers an be successful in their market because they have a very reliable supplier of various high standard products out of several areas of origin.
The participation of the producers in the added value of their products without cost increasing effect for their customers and with the security of high quality and reliability , is the fundamental characteristic of the PASSINA
group.
